Sensory deprivation alters brain chemistry.
Concomitant awareness
is reshaped in degree.
When voraciously famished objects may be misread.
When ravenously hungry
stones may be picnic spread.
When lethargically jaded peculiar may disguise.
When somnolently sleepy
strange visions may arise.
When hermetically cloistered senses may mystify.
When totally secluded
shadows may reify.
When amply disaffected estrangement may accrue.
When wholly alienated
remoteness may ensue.
Perception is the picture of what we want to see.
Unconsciously we tamper
with fair reality.
