Personality's Ripples

Derelict sensations wither slowly
while love gently whispers illicit scenes,
inartistic declarations promise
that tomorrow's visionary wonder
shall be a colourful, heartfelt affair,
and isolation sparkles smiles at night,
the heavens spin suns across a dream's sigh.

Waves of opportunity crash towards
the Perspex curves of self-imagery's wish,
on the outskirts of imagination
I dance farewells through an open portal,
thoughts collect pools of stagnant energy
as desire twists and turns itself inward,
there's an invitation to collapse life,
the public arena bellows silence,
satisfaction no longer welcomes souls,
too much aggression for being alive
with personality's ripples of light.
