Perfect Stranger

Driving home from the dentist one day
I saw a boy wearing a sandwich
He had salad meat and tomatoes hanging from his sides
I slowed and stopped at a red sign
Staring at the boy I smiled to myself
He glanced at me
and I grinned at him
He waved and I giggled
Then I heard him laugh
A cool wind caressed my cheek
What a marvelous moment
What a perfect day
What a perfect stranger
I’ll probably never see him again
Bubbles blow away so quickly..
