Why are we,
So like this
So cruel and bad
And forget the bliss

Why do we
Fight so hard
Is that just for
Our own reward

Why can't you
Do a good deed
And help the poor
Who are in need

Why can't you
Think before you act
I know you won't
And that's a fact

I have no time, and
That's not my job
That's what you say
To destroy all hope

My teacher taught me
That there is light
For every dark, and for
Wrong, there is right

People are people
I know it's true
Think that, for every bad
There is good too.
