Pay to Play

I sung to you everyday
I watched you grow and play
It was almost your birthday
You were turning eight
You were happy, You were glad
You were all that we had
It wasn't your fault, Your not to blame
It was the boys Playing the game
They thought it was cool
They thought it was great
To play with their dad's gun
They picked up number eight
They pointed it at each other
Untill it was too late, The gun had gone off
With a flash of red blood
And a glims of white light
You saw your life slip away
We still miss you to this day
But who's was it, but your own life
Who had to pay to play
