Our Secret

Release me from my agony,
 This sick swarm of blind buzzing bees,
 Piercing cold as the stormy seas,
 Voices, rumors, a vicious tease.
In seven sweet circles I dance,
 Sends me into ravenous rants,
 Lying lips, a tortuous trance,
 Eyes like serpents with seering slants.
Our secret once more brought to light,
 But we deny our love each night,
 I always say, yet I'm contrite,
 “d*mn them to Hell with all my might.”
Understand the touch of your hand,
 Hurls me to a fairytale land,
 Naïve it seems my mind expands,
 Makes chaos of a world so bland.
In that dark encaved tomb of gloom,
 We're trapped always under the moon,
 Lack of air when you're in the room,
 Praying this torment will end soon.
