Orphans And Scions

Failure
is the orphan
bewailed and bemoaned.
Failure
is the orphan
abandoned and disowned.

Triumph
is the scion
enjoyed and endeared.
Triumph
is the scion
respected and revered.

Orphans
have no sires,
no parents anywhere.
Scions
have the sires
with parents everywhere.
