One with Water

One with Water

No light, as I swim with my eyes closed.
The water is nice in the summer heat,
And I'm free for once in my life.
Gravity has little affect, and by no means am I affected.
The silence of the lake allows my mind to wonder,
But in such peace I don't even bother to think.
Little bubbles trapped under the mud float up,
 bursting with joy As I walk through the shallows.
Taking a deep breath I dive deep, yet deeper
Till my stomach brushes against the bottom.
And for a moment time stops.
No breathing, no seeing, no sound.
And I am one with the water.
