One Way Street

There is only one right Way to reach the pearly gates.
This is what adherents say as they spread their hates.

See yourself as lowly worm "you wretched piece of work."
This is what adherents term as they spread their quirk.

See yourself as useless waste "you comprehensive junk."
This is what adherents taste as they spread their bunk.

See yourself as fickle heart "you wicked, cunning thief."
This is what adherents chart as they spread their brief.

See yourself as obtuse mind "you unwise, faithless lout."
This is what adherents find as they spread their clout.

There is just a one Way street for the salvation path.
This is what adherents beat as they spread their wrath.
