One Path

Erwin Jung

Pebbles cover this wondrous trail
Of love and hope that awaits
For you may never hear the tides
That crash and tumble fate

But here, upon this golden path
A journey may grow tedious
Which you will loath to reject
And learn to soothe thine suffers

Which thy soul desires passion
These pebbles will tone peace
For the sun must reason first
Before the moon may shine
