One O One! (Part 2)

In days of yore, I knew nothing about
Wanting and having them fill
Whatever need and void I had.
And when they came...
Everything in me collapsed.
And now, as in the many thousands
Of times--in years past, I pray--
"Almighty God, break me to pieces that
I cannot make myself--whole again,
Having passed 'the way'--
My way...stumbling and falling--
Smashed and flattened."
My cherished one, stand by me!
One O One, abide with me!
