One Kiss

A kiss is such a simple thing
A little touch of love
The wedding bells begin to ring
With blessings from above
Two people walking hand in hand
A little baby born
A time to pass in grains of sand
A rose without the thorn
A new day dawning from the dark
A kiss upon the ground
A star falls down upon a spark
Without a single sound
The sunshine from a sky of blue
The birds sing in the trees
It's really just a dream come true
A kiss floats on the breeze
To live alone together free
Two fall in wedded bliss
To know the way that it could be
The beauty of one kiss.

Writing is not something I do--it's something I am. I have been a wordsmith since before I could write. I have now written 2 novels, 6 children's books, several short stories, and boxes full of poetry. I am now disabled but I still have a day job. I have 7 sisters, a dog and 2 cats (one has only 3 legs), A daughter, numerous "God-daughters", A son, and a few "God-sons". I am Extremely Biblical though I don't really follow organized religion. God is my life and I have truly been blessed-For God By God...Peace Out__Gypsy Row more…
