Once Upon A Beginning (Prayer #1-11/16/2015)

Some cryptic devotion to the hostage angels,
Bound in muscular orbits of my laboring heart,
Calls to me from a thousand telepathic angles,
We must all return to where our journey's start.

Rekindling the 'clear-sighted' appraisal straight,
At the feet of reborn faith n' a 'second chance'.
Zero focus renewed on a divine calibrated fate,
Regain that noble status of our original stance.

Whence the sojourns once did depart in 'light',
The shadows of density n' carbon-coiled atom,
Unduly burden our sacred estate beyond sight,
Torments scaring the signature vision of Adam.

Even as my bones rattle like holy grail shaken,
Destiny rises in corrective 'quakes' on horizon.
Ever a superlative remedy, verily to enlighten,
As to depths we've dug into matter now frozen.

Within the fiery cores of soul summon a 'heat',
Unto those tectonic embraces of the iron atlas,
Beseech all currents of heaven to now defeat,
Crippling impede of our flowering seed at last!

Tracy Bollinger

Always liked to write and have written poems periodically over the years. I've never shared them withanyone except for immediate family. Decided to take the plunge and put some out 'there'. But bearwith me, I don't really know what I'm doing. This is therapy of sorts and I hope to let go of the need to rhyme. It's a mental condition. I recently found out my grandmother used to rhyme all herletters to anyone. Go figure. I hope you all enjoy my ranting! I do like what I've seen other's post. more…
