Once

Humanity
Such a word I used to believe
Now gone down the river
Along with my faith
For life is cruel
No second chances

Sarah Barsky

Not a lot to say. Some of the poems are my earlier ones and I then I took a long break from writing and I think that shows a lot if you go through them. I'm in a haiku phase right now... I don't know I just like the simplicity of haikus... and it only takes five minutes to write and edit if that unlike my more verse like poems that take hours and for some days before I'm remotely happy with them. For every poem I post here there must be five or six others I have in my notebook that I would never post due to how bad they are no matter how much I tweak them... Anyways thank you for taking the time to read this and my poems. Have a lovely day or night or whatever applies to you! more…
