Oh That Sven

As Earth goes spinning 'round and 'round
It's said to pass through space without a sound,
and meanwhile, down on its busy little turf...

Small boys chase frogs with sticks
turn girls in skirts.
The skirts in turn are after daisy Queens,
the landing of fairy ships, and childhood dreams.
Learning all the while how to drive a steer,
man turned cow and a good career.

Says Sven the turtle, chomping myrtle in a glen, Stops. Listens.
