Oh friend
Charles Dickens 1812 ( Portsmouth) – 1870 (Gads Hill Place)
Oh friend,
In your eyes are destructions,
In your heart lies deceit,
In you I have seen a hidden serpent,
You turn happiness to sadness,
You make anger flow like a fountain,
You brought division into a happy home,
The sadness you brought into my life,
The enemies you infested in me,
They are like thorns in my flesh.
You have given me a reason to hate,
You have turned our friendship to bitterness,
And I call you a putrid,
Today you cease to exist in me,
You have become the haunted,
Even in your dragons den,
Go away you godless creature,
You will be buried in your cruelty
And your grave shall be home to the vultures.
