Of All The Words That Rhyme With Pain

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
This story begins in far-off Spain,
With our antagonist, a woman named Jane,
Who had a naughty tendency to entertain.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
This woman was more than your typical dame,
Though she had the taste for expensive champagne,
Many a reason she had for us to disdain.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
I think one most important is the word explain,
For explain I must the tale of her bane,
The Story of how far this woman would go for cocaine.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
I think it pertinent to bring up Cain,
For the evil brother of the bible is germane,
In the explanation of an evil food chain.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
Perhaps I should mention her acts were inane,
If I did not know better she could claim insane,
But her acts were driven merely in vain.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
Let us talk about that night and how she took that train,
The man called out to her like a whooping crane,
‘Whoop whoop’ he called in hopes to attain.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
I never could put into words how he constrained,
Holding her down as he did the inhumane,
She did not think of what she was doing due to drugs on the brain.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
Until after the fact she did not feel her need to abstain,
When she told him to stop, he did it again,
When she pushed him away, whore he did arraign.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
The blood from her face had started to drain,
When he asked what was wrong, illness she did feign,
Before she ran down the lane in the now pouring rain.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
The story thus far sounds far too mundane,
Close your eyes dear children, for it gets profane,
As she thought over what happened and decided he be slain.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
She could find no reason to refrain,
From finding that man to again entertain,
And during the act slit his jugular vein.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
Beautiful cashmere shirt was now bloodstained,
As his body fell, in her mind he deserved it for such legerdemain,
She poured on the butane, and set his body aflame.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
Let us talk about her escape in the jet plane,
She went somewhere new and changed her name,
And these secrets in her dreams she must always contain.

Of all the words that rhyme with pain,
Ça ne fait rien.
