Of A Broken Heart

They'll blame the liquor,
Tobacco, or the wild life I led.
Anything to make them feel better,
After I'm cold and dead.

Some will bring flowers,
Others will cry because their sad.
But none will own up to the stress,
They caused by being bad.

The sadness I felt,
When no one could get along.
The times I carried the load,
Because I was the one who was strong.

I'd watch them cheat.
Causing others so much pain.
Too prideful to give up,
My heart bare all the strain.

Everyone was busy;
Seemed way to busy to care.
Selfishness ruled their souls,
And no one would share.

Now I'm tired and weary,
And it's time for me to depart.
They can say what they want,
But I died of a broken heart.
