Odds And Ends In A Can

It is bolted to a 3-foot post
made of green metaled mesh
duct-tape clinging to it, serving no purpose
other than contributing to it's unsightliness
inside are vivid colors
red, blue, orange, green, yellow and chrome
like a rainbow vomited
from consuming mercury
there are 2 bees buzzing about
ready to sting over the stinch
it stands desolate on the corner
it goes unnoticed, as if it were not valuble
but even in it's foulness it is precious
without it life could get messy
3 potatochip bags, 5 soda bottles
4 drink cans, 9 miscellaneous items
and 2 bees
now, multiply that by infinity
divide by 380,000,000
