Ocean Moods

Ocean Moods

Shades of gray, shades of blue
Shades of green and turquoise too
Ocean colors changing hue
Ocean moods always the cue

Days of sun, days of rain
Days defy the weathervane
Oceans rough become the bane
Ocean moods will wax and wane

Tides will rise, tides will fall
Tides can give or take it all
Ocean shorelines short and tall
Ocean moods the moon does call

Sometimes high, sometimes low
Sometimes stressed or lucky go
People, like tides, often show
People moods with frown or glow
