Nothing

as I stand here
feeling conflicted
as I stand here
feeling restricted
you look at me
and call me
weird
you want me to be
something I simply cannot see
you press upon me
your stupid idealistic future
one that contains me to
normal
your normal
you turn me around
to look in the mirror
hoping that I see
your perfect reality
but as I look into those brown eyes
I see her fake red cheeks
and I know
I may be looking in the mirror
but nothing is looking back at me
in the mirror
is your perfect girl
but out in the real world
I am nothing
nothing to you
nothing to me
why do I even look
into that reflecting glass
hoping to see
a girl made perfectly
but instead I see nothing
you see nothing
simply I am made
by the word existence
and the dust kicked off
your dirty feet
but I know
I am nothing
nothing
nothing
