Not Appropriate for poetry

Toying with words is my game,
Finding a way not to be ashamed
Of all the evil that is done in our name
The one person that pick it to write on, gets shamed
By some ill-read ninny like you
And to that I say POOH POOH.
You come at me with short swords out
Hardly having to raise your voice to a shout.
"YOU MUST READ THIS!
HE IS A KILLER," You cry with tears streaming and snot dripping.
"I have read that and a number of others. I choose to believe that he was set up, you simple minded twit." I leave it there.
But this does not stop her, it just increases her ire.
"No, no, no he is dangerous as are his words!!! We should not buy his works and read and give to others!!!! Screaming now, in a bit of a fit. I wish I could just tell her obviously she has never looked at the court logs and is not aware of his best selling works from jail.
My voice peaks nearly into a wail, "If he was not writing about truth and how life should be, peole like you refuse to see the power of a voice, hidden deep in a jail." I clear my voice from that high strung-wail."
I turn back to this woman, if she is that. Hand her a copy of the book and say,"READ THAT." Doubting she will, I walk away...
Knowing I will fight the good fight another day....
