Nostalgia
I feel of rebirth and life
Of a past time of miracle
Before I gained this maiden name
Encaged by a pronounced knife
That I once loved and cherished
The beauty that once stole my heart
And soothed I so dearly
Has begotten me from the start
Of foolish mistakes upon thin lies
To promise and hold me tight as air
And be left to sob between ravished cries
By allure but deceiving structures
From blistering roses stained in blood
In this open rain of gleaming loss
Washed away in a puddles flood
Of sorrow droplets absorbed in moss
To leave behind a Goddess of love
That stowed your heart in darling care
And sang in angels tongue of sworn love
Only to leave the bottom stair
