No Imaginary Heart

I'll remember you're touch of warm hands running through my hair.
How we shared the Safire stars that held the skies together.
I cherish the moment when you dropped a heart of white chocolate into my coffee.
The precious ties of endless love came together swiftly and contiguously.
And the roses that reside in our gardens rich soil that bares only the finest gold.
What can I envision, but a charming and quietly put together soul?
I wish only but the stars to glance you're way and land into your hands.
Free from the sands of time that sometimes we only see from a distance.
But your not like the others, they only see the end, not the present.
To you, I give of myself simple, and true, for you are the one I trust with my heart.
I express to you my hearts beating with full meaning of your single touch.
You reach me deeply, like a dance under sparkling showers of adornment.
Holding me close safe in you're arms and secure from harm.
It's easy to share my deepest secrets, and know you'll never deceive me.
Looking into you're eyes, I see the future clear and without any doubts.
How you move mountains into cotton candy, sweet for my tongue to taste.
You could change the direction or the rivers current just from a glance of you're brown eyes.
I know this is how much you love me.

Yvonne Sensing

I've been writing since I was a kid...I enjoy putting thoughts onto paper it's like clearing out my mind. I'm not saying I'm good, but I try. Still I write, but the thoughts in my head get jumbled and it all comes out wrong. I know what I want to say, I hope it comes out that way. Anyway, I still write maybe to leave a little piece of me behind. Not here to cause trouble or be a hero. I am a kind person with a big heart and I only do what makes me feel good. Poetry happens to make me very happy and joyful. Sharing my most inner thoughts makes me a target it seems, with folks that don't like me. I assure I am not a hater, but I will stand up for myself for what's right and true. This site has made me feel like were all family and here for each other not a place to bicker and fight among us, but to enjoy each others work with respect and love. Please understand I am not here to cause problems, I am here for the same reasons you are. more…
