When I was near, you never cared ..

I tried my best to get you,
I sang my best song for you,
I painted the best one I could,
I bought the costliest pendant  for you selling my wrist watch..

You never cared …..

I waited hours near the school gate
You never   turned up,
I had the best shirt borrowed from my friend,
Just to make myself nice before you ….
You didn't even notice me  for once …..

I fought with my best friend to make you feel happy
Taking away  his bicycle to see you at noon…
You didn't care to look back on  my birthday ..

I knew jenny, I was not the best fit for you
Neither was I that rich to be aside you …
Still I loved you with my  whole heart

That Sunday .. when you refused me &
Were surprised when I proposed you,
You didn't have the  heart to feel my tears …

My heart bled and so did i…
I wept throught the night looking up to the sky
I knew you did not notice
