Why cant you give in to be
My boyfriend that I adore
And I think you want more
So I'm afraid to step it up
Because what if I fail like a lost pup.

We agree to be friends til' the end
but what if our hearts are the perfect blend?
I am dying inside when I dont see your face
and always dress up for you in lace
waiting for you to give me a call
as you always help me up from my fall.

When will we take the risk to be more than a friend
or is this idea just a fading trend?
Will we even last like this
or forget about you being missed
because every time we try
you make me wait and die.

I don't know what you are doing to my mind
but you are truly one of a kind
and the one I think about without a stop
and you tell me lets get arrested from a cop
because you listen to the stupid things I say
while all I do is want you next to me to lay.
