New Emotions

Angela Crabtree 1982 (maine)

New Emotions

There are questions running rapidly through my mind. I wonder what it is I am supposed to do next. Puzzling feelings twisted up on the inside. I wonder what it is supposed to feel like. New emotions become dangerous. Walking the boundaries of unknown territory, become frightening to me. Was life intended to be this scary? Those are some of the questions hiding deep down inside me. As these new feelings arise inside me, I begin to wonder what kind of place I have been living in. Everything was blind to me until now. I never thought life could be like this. Untangling a mess that started years ago, I begin to grow inside. Mentally I become smarter to what is going on around me. Choices are finally being made. No longer reaching for that automatic fix. Finding a new solution becomes harder to make. Questions are finally being answered. Here is to something intoxication couldn't bring. Humanity, Love, Understanding and Truth.
