Neela chakra of Jagannath temple

At the top of Jagannath temple
Neelachakra , a wheel made of
An alloy of eight different metals is there
The circumference is about 36 feet
And height is 12 feet
Chunara a particular group of sevaks
Served the Neelachakra .
On Ekadasi and on certain festive days
The sevak lit lamps near the wheel atop the temple .
The sevak also tie flags everyday on a mast attached to the
Neelachakra . This sevaks also serve Garuda
And Aruna Pillar . This is the Mahima of Jagannath temple .
