Natural Cycle

The sun comes up it also goes down,
Where's the russet the gold and brown?
Below the horizon well out of sight,
Darkness settles there's a different light.
The silvery moon spreads across the land,
Fingering earth like an inquisitive hand,
Across the water a pathway of gold,
Exciting and romanticit you can't hold,
Stars they sparkle winking at all,
We may wonder why they don't fall,
Planets sometimes visible reflect from afar,
Amazing the difference them and a star.
Silently the night brings peace and content,
We're able to recover from energy spent,
Sleep brings rejuvenation dreams and more,
Tired muscles relax are no longer sore.
Balance is natural in work rest and sleep,
As you sow so shall you reap,
Ready and eager for the cycle again,
Time moves forward but memories remain.

I find it is a good way to record events of the day and bring history to life. The mental aspect is a balance against keeping fit, work and life in general. more…
