My soul was in blind slumber

My soul was in blind slumber
Asleep like dusty mirrors are,
And like a paradise of sunshine
You entered the darkness of my heart.

I didn't know the heart was full of constellations
Of such blinding splendour and spark
For composing the prayers for happiness
For your beautiful talking eyes.

I didn't know the heart was full of sounds
Resounding, resonating so deep,
For composing the prayers for happiness
For your girlish childish lips.

I'm glad the heart was so rich,
Because your body is made of fire,
Because your soul has magic wings,
Because you are a singing song of mine.
