My silence

I hear your voice in my silence
Your words gently guide me
You tell me to be still &
Trust that you are here

What do I do?
Where do I go?
I'm frozen with fear
Help me disappear

I don't know how to love
I don't know how to trust
If u really knew the real me
You would look at me in disgust

I hide my face and close my eyes
And slide into my invisible disguise
You lift my veil and raise my head
my eyes fill with tears
The old me is dead

I am lost in your embrace
The beauty of your face
Can't believe what I see
Your love amazes me

It's nothing I have ever felt before
my shame, sorrow, sadness fall to the floor
My feet begin dancing and I speak with new tongues
Safety, security & comfort
Envelop me as the three become one
You are my heart

You are my soul
Guiding me through the unknown
I give all of me to you from now through eternity!
