My Prayer

As I said my prayer this morning
I felt His presence and His Love
I poured my heart out to Him
He assured me it was heard up above
He let me know He is aware of our wants,
Our needs, our cares and such
But I was reminded in His due time
With blessings we will be touched
So I asked of Him to help me endure
And be led by the Holy Ghost
To become humble, meek, submissive & patient
In wherever I needed it the most
Then he whispered to my heart
Or maybe I actually did hear
"Just keep your faith and belief,
And share with those who will hear"
I told Him I would try
That I would do my best
I would tell them of His sweet love
But it's up to them to do the rest.
