My Life Blood - 1

The life blood of me runs slowly
As through cavernous mountains it wanders
Leaving but a little impression on the rocks
Already marked with others' contributions
Throughout ages of turmoil, strife, and hate
Joy, wealth. happiness, and grief
Building up and destroying minds and souls.

My life runs on through rocky obstacles
As if a stream which flows steadily
Onwardly past obstructions blocking its path
Blocks which like love and hate, thought and deed,
Speaking and silence, wonderment and knowledge,
Life and death, living and being forgotten
And the relief of the immortal soul through realization
Make the trailway well guarded with dangers
Waiting to penetrate eagerly awaiting teeth
Inbto soft flesh still reeking of an unsightly birth.
