My Life

It all happened six years ago

Do I want to remember them? No

The same re occurring night mare

Just hits me right there

The pain I felt

All the crap I've dealt

Words that stab you right in the heart

As short and sharp as a dart

Leaving behind scars

I may of lost hair

Worn a wig

But I don't care

I am beautiful in every way

I say this to my self-everyday

When people tell me I'm useless

Weird or ugly

And make me feel worthless smugly

So what if every time I wear shorts or a tank top

You can see my past engraved in my skin

Is it some sort of sin?

You can stare

You can glare

But I know I am just like you

Inside me somewhere

People's words aren't worth crying over

Wishing for things to change hoping for a four leaf clover

I can't change who I am

I will be this way forever

My true friends will help me get through this

We will stick together

Little words bring back the memories

I turn sad, feel neglected

But all I need Is a hug

And someone to say

You are perfect in every single way.
