My Greetings, To You

My fellow country men, I send my greetings,
Hoping that you are at peace in spirit,
Yet if you are then you have no feelings...
You are asleep and to lie you are left.

Do you not see our children dying,
Of simple ailments as fever and cold?
Doctors and nurses are out striking,
Their salaries have been squandered abroad!

Innocent children know not why
Their father went out and never came back.
Who, by the bullet, to death, succumbed.
Yet the leaders, blinded by a deadly greed,
Mind him not to retain their lead.

Wake up fellow country men from sleep,
Tyranny in the country is so deep.
Wonder why the education system fails?
Our schools are more crowded that jails!

My greetings to you, fellow country men,
When you are blinded by visions; When
The country's water catchment areas a'taken,
By them scrupulous boisterous men.

My greetings to you, not my teachings,
How many lives are lost t accidents,
When our roads can't support their vehicles,
And tankers capsize on these poor constructions?

Wake up my country men, to my greetings.
For you see them, like me on daily basis,
And yet only you and me can change,
To bring this country from this bondage.
