My Grandmother Teresa

My grandma passed away today
I am feeling so empty, so alone
Her death was not really a surprise;
But my feelings are just that; my own.

Looking back; I could have changed
alot of things; I could have done
so much more for sure.
At this moment I am relieved;
that she suffers no more.

She was a very special lady.
Unique, talented, genuine and kind.
The "what you see is what you get";
most certainly applies to this woman
this time.

I choose to remember her with love
those special times held deep in my heart.
For the tie that binds will always allow
my gram and me to never be too far apart.
