My friend sorrow and Josie

Here I am with my friend called sorrow
He isnt really my friend but everywhere I go he follows
I feel so hollow, and now that I dont have my baby
My friend sorrow has been coming a lot lately
And I cant help but wallow in sorrow daily
Day after day I think of her, and I am not ok
Because when I call her she doesn't answer; she cant
Mean while sorrow creeps around inside me like a cancer
Although having cancer might be a blessing
My sorrow comes and goes but it is stressing
Why cant this sorrow leave me alone?
Without her I am incomplete and this hill called life feels so steep
Earlier today, I was thinking I could be ok
Until sorrow walk in just to say hey and I'll be damned he was here to stay
Why oh why cant this sorrow just stay the hell away?
Maybe just for one day he can stay at bay
Instead of in my heart as my sorrow tears it apart
I dont think I can go through this life without my girl by my side
Otherwise I might as well be blind with a sign saying this life of mine has left me in a bind
If I never see her again, I will just be another waiting in line for my time to die
If I let my sorrow show to much then people wont understand as they apprehend my body
And put me in therapy and pump me full of pills to make me feel jolly
Can anyone help me and save me from this sorrow?
Yes they can, when you see my baby, just point her in the direction I am
