You look bored with following me
There's deffinitely more
You'd like to see
Why did you claim
Someone like me
I don't understand
Even a bit
My dear friend shadow
You can't disappear
I can even see you
While writing this piece
Why stick so close
To someone like me
Like water and rose
Apart we can't be seen
My dear friend shadow
I know you are here
I know that you listen
Whenever I sing
I know you despise
Some of my actions
I know you are wise
Enough to stop my infractions
My dear friend shadow
Thank you for being near
When I am alone
And I cry in fear
My dear friend shadow
The earth cannot live
Without the sun
And so are we
