Mother I Cause You Pain But I've Grown To Love You More

I know I caused you pain I know I made you suffer, but...
You didn't walk away your a mother
A mother of two it's like your living with two hearts
Your love is so true
I let the truth be told expressing my thoughts of you.
How you showed me guidance and compassion
Kindness even when your weak, but you get strength
To surpass this, obstacles you face in your life.
You strive to be the best, I tell you mother but you are
You got a laughter that makes me so happy
When your eyes water they glisten like shiny stars
You've touched me with words and actions
So clearly what you mean to me
I love you dearly.
I know you know that, cause I say it
So sincere, I know you forgive me
When the times were hard
I didn't expect no sympathy
As I grown older things changed gradually
For the path to your heart.

The topics I write about are very diverse, so are the poetry styles I apply. I started writing poetry in high school in 05. I had written some poetry during class and showed some of my classmates who enjoyed it! I then was chosen to have my poetry in the school newspaper for each month! I done a lot of my work in the library. I met a woman who i showed my work to that worked there, and she said she knew a man that works on the radio! Then i was able to read two poems off the radio. A news reporter who appeared on the station as well decided to do a report on me and I've been writing ever sense. :) If Anybody want to friend request me on Facebook feel free too! Just look up Jon Otano I should be easy to find! :) more…
