From a mother to a grand
to a great breaking bread

Each grain of thee is grand
made by the hands of God in greatness

His greatest creation
was making a mother

A mother
to care for another loving child
with loving arms

Born protected in the womb
before the wounds of this world
gets a hold of us

From a mother to greatness
she was made

The maternal turning hands
turning time to find
instincts to give warmth
and form calmness
away from harms way

From a mother to grand greatness
surrounded by children of all ages

A part of her
in a part of us
apart of the dust
sprinkled from heaven
to mend the miracles
that made who we are today

From a mother to a grandmother
to greatness she is

From my mother
to mother of our children
she'll always be
mother to us all
