Mother
Sweet and simple,
salted with love,
brave and courageous,
gracious as a dove.
Teeming with wisdom,
yearning to share,
soaring through life,
seemingly without care.
Spoiling rotten,
no pay back expected,
ideas and dreams,
simply accepted.
Problem arises,
there in a flash,
shoulder to cry on,
a little extra cash.
Place to confide in,
Shelter from pain,
Hero and savior,
seeking no fame.
Devoid of a soul,
lying there lifeless,
lost a best friend,
Mother was priceless.
