Mosaic

Mixture and fixture, blends for the eager,
sorting life's fragments, no matter how meager,
begin the mosaic patterns of direction,
with resilience, brilliance, in animate search for affection.
Contrast of stained glass, or just colored stones,
feelings with instincts, spent in spoken tones.
Striving, struggles help frame in the way,
 arrayed, inlaid, elements that stay.
Principles and existence, regrets and respect,
conquest then changes, aspects to inflect.
Days are a composite that lead to tomorrow,
built on a foundation that no one else can follow.
The object of living is learned of able worth,
of things to be valued, to seek out and search.
Effective collectives that build the man,
so that having done all, the man will still stand.
Compelling, constraining, to learn how to live,
use keys to fulfillment and comprehend how to give,
to help one abide in stride while life is lengthened,
then, formed living pictures shall grow and be strengthened.
