morphosis

running running running, i wanna run a million miles
through valleys dressed in leafy cloaks
run through burning scorched deserts

i want to plunge into the oceans, swim to the bottom and
dig through to the center of this world
there i will sit in the core hidden in soft warmth

but thats not the end of my quest
i want to rip the walls out with bare hands
collapsing this earth into a rubble

i'll take apart my body and leave it in the pile
take off through clusters of stars and nebulas
leaving this mess way behind

complex systems revealing, ever expanding
on the edge of reality i will peel up the corner and
leave it all behind me

then as if i actually missed all that which i have cast off
i will start to think
start to wonder all sorts of things

in my mind i will build ideas and structures
so vast and incomprehensible that it consumes me
i will even start to fantasize and dream

constructing societies of entities perceiving and reacting
with all sorts of prerequisites, all unique
put then in different contexts, dynamically intertwined

i will build a soul, containing all my wisdom
give him the power to create and the will to explore
give him clues, keys, ambitions and place within him a flame

then i will forget, concealing my powers
closing my mouth and tying my hands behind my back
set this idea stream moving and blindly flow on its currents

david holmberg

I'm a Swedish artist with many fields of interest. My poems are often about spirituality, philosophy, love, emotions and sometimes they are even a tad nonsensical :)I have a history of depression and alot of reflection about my self, conciousness and the world. I am introverted, honest and love to delve into the different realms of art and spirituality! My poetry is very personal and I never try to mimic any other poets. While I haven't explored the stilistical forms of poetry so much I try to work with expression and painting a picture, try to keep it as free as possible. Although I might try out different forms in the future should I feel to. Aaaanyways welcome to my page, hope you enjoy yourself! Any feedback or just spontaneous reactions are much appreciated! :-) more…
