Mornings' First Light

I did it again...
and cursed the mornings' first light for doing so
that first conscious breath,
that first conscious thought,
brought forth from the depths of my subconscience.
the lingering dream so often forgotten,
yet too often remembered.
your touch, your taste,
and everything you make me feel,
so vivid,
and so g*d d*mn alive
it haunts me in my sleep.
"when you look so peaceful," you'd said.
and i said I loved you.
I still do, you know.
you probably dont,
but I told you again in my dream,
this morning,
and every single morning
I curse the mornings' first light...
