Monotonous War

Wails of war have echoed throughout time

Arrows, spears, guns, missiles

All have pierced the innocence of man

Enough blood shed to fill an ocean

The persecution of humanity for peace never cease

The sounds of war echo for an eternity

The images of war are woven in our history

Do we have the capacity to have divine love?

Millenniums of hate desecrate all of Christ words.

Technological gain in the name of pain

The stars have bared witness to thousands of years

Of hell on earth.

Poisoned lungs, pierced skin, bodies blown away

Man's legacy to the world.
