Moments

Life gets interrupted when someone dies,
A hole is created as everyone tries
To make things normal. to make things whole;
It all comes back around as we grow;

Peace is shattered as someone cries,
Burning water forced from flaming eyes;
The world betrays a selfish smile,
As all behind the wall are whole;
It all comes back as we grow;

Feelings are sealed in unseeing eyes,
Eyes all frayed as eveyone lies,
Down on the ground while in the air.
Knowing little of what there is to know;
It all turns around as we grow;

Moments that are torn and oh so worn,
Belie a reality unscathed;
Another existence highly betrayed,
A laugh a smile and all the while,
Regains the life that once was dealt,
And with a sign and just one breath,
Relieves itself, it has returned;
As we grow,
