i still have that mixtape you had your band make for me
every time i play it i go down memory street
i still love the sound when you do your drum solo
and the lead singer reciting every word you wrote
yeah that was a long time ago
back then there was alot of things i didnt know
but as the years went on and on
our love got more strong
that was until the time came
and nothing was the same and we couldnt survive the change
weither it was the fact you couldnt be more supportive
or i was mad at myself for not making you notice
what we had was so good
that it had to just turn bad
cause no one ever deserves what it ever was
we just couldnt keep it going on
