Misdirection

Many times people running
Don't realize they're moving backwards
Life may be moving too fast
They don't want to end up last.
Other times people stand like statues
Unaware of being chased
They end up at the head of the line
And have no trouble doing just fine.
Wherever you should find yourself
Whether at the center of a circle
Or at the edge of a square
You never know if life is going to be fair.
