Misconceived Friendship

Caesar and Brutus lived in Rome,
Friends, as good as can be.
Caesar's trust was like a loan,
That resulted in tragedy.

 Arrogant was Lord Caesar
Brutus was noble and strong.
Two Romans were blessed like young brothers
Though different, their friendship was strong.

Caesar to be crowned the king,
Brutus thought him a traitor.
Caesar was stabbed and murdered,
The killer discovered later.

 Brutus provided with false information,
He thought Caesar had changed.
He knew his country would be in trouble
If Caesar's power reigned.

Two Romans, this story revolves around,
Friends as good as can be.
Both of them were misunderstood
That resulted in tragedy.
