Midnight Sky

Burning fast across the midnight sky,
a star is falling and catches my eye.
As it burns steadily across the night,
a beautiful show of color,and light.
Pitch black night,lit up by its fire,
passing along wishes,and hearts of desire.
I wished for your happiness,and dreams to come true,
would have wished for more,but the moment was through.
The moment was over,the star burned out of sight,
leaving me standing in the pitch black of night.
Pitch black night shooting star,
you always shine bright where ever you are.
